Isabella Edgecombe is self- taught artist who draws on the environment and colour psychology for inspiration for her distinctive body of abstract paintings. Working on large scale canvases with acrylic paint, she explores the concept of imperfect perfection, with smooth carefully selected solid colours to create her distinctive and slightly irregular shapes and lines. Taking a simple and minimalistic approach to form and exhibition style.
Currently based in Melbourne, she has exhibited sold out solo shows in Melbourne, and her work is featured in private collections in Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Denmark, US, UK , France, Germany, Luxembourg, Dubai, China, Singapore and Indonesia .
